The June 27 lava flow advanced 100 yards since Saturday, according to Hawaii County Civil Defense.

An aerial survey Sunday morning observed a narrow flow front advancing along the tree line, Civil Defense said.

The flow continues to burn vegetation as it advances.

The Hawaiian Volcano Observatory said the flow has advanced 440 yards since Wednesday.
